Marion's Place Gallery at the Hudson Valley Farmers Market
Come visit the new art gallery in the dining area of the Hudson Valley Farmer's Market. Featuring a different artist every few months.
Now up in the Marion's Place Gallery, Paola Bari ceramics from October 20, 2017 to January 13, 2018. Paola, a former software engineer with IBM, is a certified porcelain artist and an original co-founder of the RiverWinds Gallery in Beacon, NY. She learned to love ceramics as a young girl in Italy and traveled all over the world to learn different techniques. Though Paola primarily works with paint and ceramic, she has also created pieces using metal surfaces. Her art sometimes takes the form of functional objects like tea pots, plates and vases. Additionally, her sculpture in porcelain is quite whimsical, featuring stretching frogs, cats, and ornately decorated game fowl. In addition to her artwork in the Marion's Place Gallery, you will find some of her pieces available for sale in the Market. Be sure to join us for the opening reception and farm to table dinner on November 19th. See details below. Call 845-758-8007 to make reservations for the dinner.
