Time is of the essence! For best quality and flavor, fruit should ripen on the vine and be eaten the day it is harvested. Healthy living includes harvesting and eating fruit in small amounts, often. The Greig Farm is happy to do the harvesting for you with the best blueberries, red and yellow raspberries, blackberries, apples, and pumpkins, each hand picked in their season.
Our new "Fresh Fruit Membership" at the Greig Farm includes all of our delicious farm fresh fruit. We use no systemic chemicals and chose natural predators over the chemical solution whenever possible. No middle man, no road side stands, no delays. Delicious fruit direct from our sunny fields to you.
This is how the FFM works:
Our harvest season begins in July. With the membership, we give you the option of pick-up at the Greig Farm or delivery to your home. The Greig Farm fruits you will be receiving are:
July weekly selection would include two quarts of blueberries and a taste of our summer crop red and yellow raspberries when they come in in mid July.
Beginning of August, weekly selection would consist of two quarts of sweet blueberries.
Mid August would be substituted with weekly pints of our juicy thornless blackberries.
Late August would bring weekly pints of our amazing fall crop red and yellow raspberries.
September is the beginning of our Apple season and the selection would feature 5 pounds of a different apple variety as they come into their season. Apple varieties change weekly to give you a full sampling of flavors each picked at their ideal stage of maturity through October. Jonamac, Gala, McIntosh, Macoun, Ginger Gold, Empire, JonaGold, Red Delicious, Staymen, and Rome.
September will also include pints of our Fall crop red and yellow raspberries.
October brings the Greig Farm fall pumpkin harvest. Each selection would include a fall pumpkin harvest from sugar pumpkins and squash for baking or decorative, as well as jack-o-lanterns for seasonal display.

With your membership in the Greig Farm FFM, all fruits will be harvested on delivery day and available to you on the same afternoon, bringing you the absolute freshest fruit around!

The Greig Farm has been open to the public for pick your own fruits and vegetables for more than 60 years. We have always planted varieties that feature the best flavor. We are aware as our modern lives have become compressed that there is a trend for less and less time for each of us to spend in nature on the farm. Our goal is to make the same high quality fresh fruit available to you as you would expect if you picked it yourself. But no matter which service you select from below we would still encourage everyone to come to the farm and pick for yourself. Nothing compares to the flavor in the field with the heat of the harvest sun on the fruit.
